Artist Statement: I photograph horses as a way to achieve inner peace. By influencing the horses actions, through activities that are enjoyable, it can be revealed on film who the horse really is to preserve a horses emotion and character for years to come.
Introduction
One of my continuing passions besides just nature photography is horse photography. Way back when, I rode hardcore english for about 9 years. A few years ago i suffered from a knee injury, which makes riding for me a little difficult (though I still go out, no more english riding). Since then, I have taken to horse photography, I have been working on developing my portfolio and even have been talking to some of Minnesota's great horse photographers, such has Jolene R. Bertrand also going to workshops presented by Shelley Paulson
